Income Assistance

Childcare Subsidies assist low-income parents to enter, and remain in the workforce or in school by subsidizing the cost of licensed childcare services.

CNDP promotes good nutrition practices for children, helps develop independence skills and provides an opportunity for communities to take ownership of local food security initiatives.

The Discount Bus Pass Program provides a monthly bus pass at a reduced rate so that people in receipt of social assistance, TEA, SES and PTA can participate more fully in their communities.

The Saskatchewan Employment Supplement (SES) is a monthly benefit that supplements the income earned by lower income parents to assist with the child-related costs of working.

A monthly supplement is provided to seniors who have little or no income other than the federal Old Age Security pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

The Saskatchewan Rental Housing Supplement is a monthly benefit that assists families with children and persons with disabilities with their housing costs.

The Transitional Employment Allowance (TEA) provides financial support to people who are participating in employment services or transitioning to a job.
